An 18-year-old Uncasville woman who was pulled from the water at Ocean Beach Park in New London on Wednesday evening is in critical condition at the hospital, according to police.
Police said lifeguards noticed the teen, Lobsang Dolma, unresponsive in the deep end of the pool around 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday.
Lifeguards pulled her from the water and began CPR while firefighters and paramedics headed to the scene.
Dolma was taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
It's not clear what caused her to lose consciousness in the pool.
