One person was seriously injured after being shot multiple times in Hartford Sunday night.
Police responded to 546 Street after receiving a call at 1:34 a.m. on Sunday morning. When they arrived, police said they found a person lying on the road with multiple gunshot wounds after being shot with an an assault rifle. Police determined the shooting happened at about 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The person was in serious condition at the time and was transferred to Hartford Hospital.
The victim has not been identified yet and police have not identified any suspects.
Hartford police major crimes and evidence investigators responded.
The shooting remains under investigation.
