Bridgeport Man Killed After Being Struck by Two Cars in Waterbury

One person has been killed after being struck by a vehicle in Waterbury, Connecticut early Saturday morning.

According to state police, Melvin Gordils, 26 of Bridgeport, was killed after he was struck by two cars at the on ramp for I-84 West from Route 8 Southbound around 2 a.m.

The vehicles that struck Gordils remained on scene.

Route 8 Southbound at exit 33 and the connector for I-84 was closed for approximately four hours while police investigated.
