Photo from Walmart Hidden Camera Released

Police supplied a photo of a man in his 20s in a Whalers hat.

Wallingford Police are looking for the man seen in video from a camera hidden inside a dressing room at the Walmart Supercenter at 844 North Colony Street in early June.

The image police supplied from the video shows a man in his early 20s wearing a light green striped  short sleeved shirt and a tan Hartford Whalers tan hat.

Police on Tuesday would not say if the camera was found in the women's or the men's dressing room. They did said that it recorded for a shot time before an employee found it and that there are no indications that Walmart customers were recorded inside the changing room.

“This is completely inappropriate and unacceptable to us and to our customers,” Ashley Hardie, a spokesperson for Walmart, said earlier this week.

Hardie said no one's privacy was compromised, and that the staff will be monitoring the dressing rooms for anything unusual.

If you can identify the man in the photo, call Wallingford Police Detective Sean Houlihan at
203-294-2844 or 203-294-2800 (WPDCN 2012-12498). All calls can be kept confidential.
