Lebanon man is lucky to be alive after his plane clipped one tree, got stuck in another and fell to the ground.

Connecticut State Police responded to the area of 241 Church Road on Monday when a 911 call came in that a small plane had crashed to the ground.

The pilot, Clifford Church,  told police he attempted to land his ultralight plane in a private field Monday night but misjudged his approach and tried to take flight again.

That's when Church's small ultralight plane clipped one tree, causing his plane to become lodged in the top of another tree and tumbled to the ground, police said.

Church walked away from the crash and no one on the ground was injured.
