Plainfield Man Arrested on Drug Charges

Police put an end to an ongoing narcotics investigation in Plainfield by arresting a suspect on Friday.

Police arrested 43-year-old Jeffrey J. Dailey, Jr. following a search and seizure operation at 456 North Main Street in the Moosup village of Plainfield around 11:15 p.m. Friday night.

Investigators found heroin and cocaine inside the home, according to police.

Dailey was charged with possession of narcotics, intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was held on a $75,000 bond and is due in court Oct. 28.

Officers from the Willimantic police, Eastern Connecticut State University police and Plainfield police helped in the investigation.
