Plymouth Man Arrested After Police Found Heroin in His Car

A man was arrested in Plymouth after police found over 100 bags of heroin in his car.

Police approached 35-year-old Ryan Marchetti as they saw him get into his car, in which they believed to be suspicious, when they saw numerous items of drug paraphernalia in plan view.

Officers then searched Marchetti's car and found 126 bags on heroin along with numerous partially empty bags.

Marchetti's car was parked near Plymouth Center School when police conducted the search, according to officials.

Police noted that numerous car burglaries have occurred nearby recently. They initially saw the car had its interior dome light on.

Marchetti faces charges including possession of drug paraphenalia, possession of narcotics in a school zone and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

He posted a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 4.
