Standoff in Norwalk Over: Reports

Police have taken a man into custody after a standoff in Norwalk.

Police responded to Hillside Street in Norwalk, where they are dealing with an armed man, and a nearby day care has been evacuated, according to News 12.

Ben Franklin day care, located on Flax Hill Road, is evacuated.

The Hour reports that a man with a shotgun fired a shot on Hillside Road and police were trying to contact him.

Police have told the hour that he is in custody.

Police said the man wants to speak to his ex-girlfriend or will "start picking off people," according to the Hour.
