South Windsor police arrested a man suspected in a series of car burglaries in affluent communities of several area towns in August 2013.

According to authorities, Andrews Dupree, 20, of 129 Walnut St. in Holyoke, Massachusetts, admitted to using online maps to find affluent neighborhood and target cars.

He searched dozens of unlocked cars several times per week, police said.

He was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary in the third-degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree.

Dupree is being held on $35,000 bond.
