Elizardo Montanez and Jesus Gonzalez have been charged in connection with a murder.

Bridgeport detectives have arrested two men in connection with an April 9 shooting that killed a New York man.

Detectives believe the victim, Ernesto Reyes-Santos, of New York, was lured to Davis Street in Bridgeport, where he was robbed and shot.

A passerby found him in the street and called police.

Elizardo Montanez, 23, and Jesus Gonzalez, 32, who are both from Bridgeport, have been charged with murder and conspiracy charges.

Police arrested Gonzalez this morning and held on $1 million bond. Montanez was charged last week and held on $2 million bond.
