Police arrested a Moosup drunken driver after a late night rollover crash in that section of Plainfield on Friday, police said.

Frederick Wrobel, 48, was driving eastbound on Moosup Pond Road in his 2006 Dodge 3500 when he veered off the right shoulder  near the Interstate 395 overpass on Friday, according to police. His pick-up truck hit a stone wall and flipped multiple times before crashing into a tree and landing on its roof in the eastbound lane of the roadway, police said.

Police responded at about 10:49 p.m., as well as Moosup firefighters.
Wrobel declined medical attention at the scene.
Police charged him with operating under the influence of alcohol and or drugs and failure to maintain an established lane.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 8.
