Police Confiscate Marijuana, BB Gun During Motor Vehicle Stop in Bridgeport

Bridgeport Police Stop Car, Find Marijuana and BB Gun

Two Bridgeport men are facing charges after police found a BB gun and marijuana in their car on Sunday.

Driver Christopher Serrano,18, of Boston Avenue, and passenger Joh’Sean Bowman, 21, of Remington Street, were stopped following a motor vehicle violation in the area of East Washington Avenue, police said.

According to police, officers recovered a bag of marijuana on Serrano’s lap, as well as a small scale and what appeared to be packaging material. While searching Bowman, police found a BB gun.

Serrano is charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, and motor vehicle charges.

Bowman is charged with possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle and possession of a dangerous weapon.
