Bristol police are investigating a stabbing at the Downtown Café just before 3 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
Police said the victim is 37 and it appears was cut in the face at café, which is located at 118 Main Street.
Police were notified of the stabbing when the victim went to Bristol Hospital.
The Criminal Investigation Division responded to assist patrol with the investigation.
