Wallingford Police were investigating a home invasion Friday night.

Four masked men armed with a gun broke into a home on Dinatale Drive, and tied up two elderly women and five children, police said.

The assailants demanded to know where the money was kept, then ransacked the home, taking money, jewelry and electronics, according to police.

No one was seriously injured.

Investigators are trying to determine if the incident is connected to other home invasions in the area.
