Police Investigating Milford Bank Robbery

Police are searching for the man who robbed a bank in Milford on Friday.

Police said a man robbed the Chase Bank at 1651 Boston Post Road Milford at 4 p.m. on Friday.

He went up to the teller and handed over a note that said, “I have a gun, give me the money,” police said.

He never showed a weapon and police officer who responded to the scene did not find him, police said.

A police dog was brought in for the search, which ended in the parking lot of AMF bowling alley.

Police are looking for a man between 30 and 40 years old, who is between 5-feet-4 and 5-feet -7. He was wearing a maroon baseball hat with a white brim, brown aviator style sunglasses, a dark-colored long-sleeve shirt, jeans and white sneakers.

He was also carrying a large dark back pack.
