Darien police have arrested two suspects in two residential burglaries and 17 motor vehicle burglaries.
The burglaries happened overnight from June 17 to June 18, police said.
Joshua River, 21, of Trumbull, and Qu’amere Brantley, 20, of Bridgeport were each charged with two counts of burglary in the first degree and 17 counts of burglary in the third degree from a motor vehicle, as well as conspiracy.
Brantley posted a $50,000 bond and has a scheduled court date of July 30 at Stamford Superior Court.
Rivera posted a $5,000 bond and is due in court on Aug. 3 at Stamford Superior Court.
Police have also filed additional charges against two people they earlier arrested.
Nelson Rivera was also charged with 16 counts of burglary in the third degree from a motor vehicle and one count of burglary in the first degree, as well as conspiracy.
Livelle Sampson was also charged with 17 counts of burglary in the third degree from a motor vehicle and one count of burglary in the first degree as well as conspiracy.
Police said they recovered stolen property from Darien, Norwalk, Wilton, Westport, Trumbull, Stratford, North Haven, Cheshire, Cromwell and Meriden.
An additional arrest is expected.
