Police Search for Bank Robbery Suspect

Waterbury police are looking for a man who robbed a TD Bank on Highland Avenue on Saturday afternoon.

Authorities said the suspect entered the bank at 2:00 p.m., and demanded money from a teller.

The suspect took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police describe the suspect as a male in his 20's, 6 feet tall with a slim build, and with facial hair. Witnesses told police the suspect may have been wearing a fake beard.

The man was last seen wearing a baseball cap, a dark colored hooded jacket, and blue jeans. Suspect took off in a late 90's or early 2000's green Honda Accord, police said.
