Police Search for Cars Stolen From Beacon Falls

Police are investigating after two cars were stolen from driveways in Beacon Falls late Sunday night or early Monday.

State police said a blue four-door 2007 Honda Civil LX with a small scrape on the back bumper and Connecticut license plates 563TTJ was taken from a driveway on Wilson Court sometime between 9 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday.

The Civic has two stickers on the back left window reading "Naugatuck Valley Community College" and "Heritage Village," according to police.

Police are also searching for a blue 2010 Honda Odyssey minivan with Connecticut plates 743YDX was stolen from a driveway on Snyder Drive between 1:30 and 5 a.m. Monday.

According to police, both cars were unlocked and the keys were left inside. Authorities are reminding drivers to lock their cars and remove keys and valuables.
