A 71-year-old Torrington woman who triggered a Silver Alert yesterday has been found safe in Vermont.
Pauline Kelly had been missing from Torrington since Tuesday and was found in Middlebury, Vermont.
According to police, Kelly left a phone message with family around 2 p.m. on Tuesday to say that she was headed to Hamonassett or Clinton and would call when she arrived and they had not heard back from her.
Police said when they issued the alert that Kelly has a medical condition that might cause confusion, police said.
