Police Search for Watertown Kmart Thieves

Police are searching for the men who stole from a Kmart store in Watertown late last month.

According to police, the suspects targeted the store on Straits Turnpike on April 29. One of the thieves brought a pair of scissors and used them to cut video came controllers from their security packs.

Police said both men took the controllers from the store.

Security footage shows the perpetrators to be two white men, one with a shaved head and the other wearing a dark-colored baseball cap.

The suspect with the shaved head is wearing a red sweatshirt with the word “Reebok” written across the front in white letters, dark sweatpants and sneakers.

Surveillance video shows the second suspect wearing a gray sweatshirt with an eagle on the front and dark-colored pants.

Anyone with information on the incident is urged to call Watertown police at 860-945-5216.
