Police Searching for Gas Station Armed Robbery Suspect

Milford police are searching for a man believed to have robbed a Shell gas station at gunpoint Friday night.

According to police, the robbery happened just before 11:00 p.m. when a man wearing a black mask entered the gas station, produced a handgun, confronted the clerk and demanded cash.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and several packs of Newport cigarettes before fleeing the store, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall and was wearing a denim jacket.
