Norwalk police are looking for a 22-year-old man suspected of shooting his sister’s boyfriend yesterday.
Police said Terry Peterson is suspected of shooting his sister’s boyfriend in the hallway of building 12 Roodner Court, at 261 Ely Ave. just before 6 p.m. on Thursday.
The victim, a 30-year-old Norwalk man, had a gunshot wound to the upper body and was conscious and breathing on his own, police said. Norwalk paramedics began first aid and the man was transported to Norwalk Hospital for surgery.
Peterson should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
He is 5-feet-8, weighs about 170 pounds and has a medium build.
He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jean shorts and orange sneakers.
A warrant is being prepared charging Peterson with first-degree assault and there are warrants on file for criminal trespass. Peterson was not allowed to be in the building, police said.
