Police are looking for witnesses to a crash that badly injured a 17-year-old who was riding a scooter in South Windsor.
Police said a minivan and the scooter crashed at Avery Street and Country View Drive just before 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old rider was transported to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries.
The 48-year-old woman who was driving the minivan was not hurt and stayed at the scene.
Police said the road was closed for a short period of time as police investigated.
