State police seized a kilo of heroin during a drug bust at a home in Wolcott on Monday afternoon.
Members of the Northwest Office of the Statewide Narcotics Task Force raided 31 Chesterfield Ave. in Wolcott around 2:30 p.m. on Monday and seized the heroin, as well as $4,000 in cash, heroin packaging materials, cutting agent and scales, according to state police.
The resident, Thomas Allergini, 51, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a drug factory.
He is due in court in Waterbury on Jan. 26.
