Search for Murder Suspect Continues

Authorities are searching for a murder suspect, sources said.

Authorities continued the search for a murder suspect in Hartford Saturday morning.

Police swarmed the streets surrounding Union Station in Hartford Friday afternoon as they searched for 33-year-old Omar Gray.

Gray is wanted for a 2006 execution-style murder in North Carolina.

Gray was spotted in the area of Union Sation around 3 p.m., leading police to lock down the train and bus terminal.

State troopers and local police were posted at several locations at  and around the bus and train station at 1 Union Place.

The state police helicopter was launched to assist in the search.

No buses were allowed in or out of Union Station during the search, according to the bus manager.  Bus passengers were dropped off on Asylym Street.  

Train service was briefly interrrupted.
