Police Arrest Fugitive After Standoff

Police surrounded a home on Artillery Road in Watertown Wednesday after tracking robbery suspect Sean Patrick Flavin there.

A man wanted on robbery charges in Pennsylvania was arrested after barricading himself in a home in Watertown.

Police surrounded a home at 103 Artillery Road Wednesday afternoon after seeing Sean Patrick Flavin go inside.

Flavin was wanted for a the robbery of a movie theater in Wilkes-Barre, Penn. on Sunday night. According to police in Wilkes-Barre, Flavin pointed a handgun at a theater employee and stole a bank bag as the employee left the box office.

Flavin was considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.

Police in Watertown received a call from someone at the house at 11:19 a.m. alerting them that Flavin was there, according to Lt. Mark Raimo.

Flavin has some type of releationship with somebody who lives at the home, but police did not immediately release information on that relationship.

He is charged with interfering with an officer.
