Power Restored in Middletown

Wires came down on a truck on East Street in Middletown near the Westfield Fire Department, knocking power out to thousands of Connecticut Light & Power customers on Monday afternoon. 

East Street was closed between Miner Street and Glenwood Terrace while repairs were made.

As of 4 p.m., there were 3.219 power outages in Middletown. Power was restored around 5:30 p.m.
