Multiple buildings at UConn in Storrs was experiencing power outages, a spokesperson confirmed with NBC Connecticut on Thursday.
Up to two blown circuits knocked out the power, Stephanie Reitz with UConn said.
Students in residential buildings with outages were directed to the dining halls, Reitz said.
UConn cancelled the following classes in Storrs:
