Quinnipiac Medical School Opens

Quinnipiac University’s $100 million medical school has opened its doors and welcomed the inaugural class.

The White Coat Ceremony was be held on Friday at the TD Bank Sports Center Hamden and Dr. David Hill, director of the Global Public Health Institute in the School of Medicine, led the Hippocratic Oath.

The recently completed Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine is located in the Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Quinnipiac’s North Haven Campus.

Sixty students from around the country will attend the first day of classes on Monday.

Quinnipiac announced its plans for the medical school in 2010.
