Farmington police have arrested a Rhode Island man accused of stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry from an acquaintance.
Farmington Police obtained a warrant charging Thomas J. Young, 27, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, with larceny in the first degree and he turned himself in to Farmington police.
Police said Young had been living with his uncle’s girlfriend for a few weeks.
She told police that Young has a history of drug abuse and she identified some jewelry that was photographed at a pawn shop as hers jewelry, police said.
None of the jewelry has been recovered.
Young was held on $75,000 bond and he is due in court on Tuesday.
