Man Rescued from Talcott Mountain

Life Star is at Talcott Mountain as police make a rescue attempt.

Police and rescue crews brought a man safely down from Talcott Mountain in Simsbury Thursday afternoon.

Jared Drabiszczak, 20, fell 60 feet near King Philip Cave while hiking with friends.

Responders to the accident repelled down to the man where they found him unresponsive but breathing. He was transported via Lifestar helicopter to Hartford Hospital, where he remained Friday in critical condition.
