Reward Offered for Tips in Norwalk Double Homicide

A $50,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the unsolved killings of two people in 2011, according to Norwalk police.

Police are still searching for a suspect in the murders of Rickita Smalls, 22, and Iroquis Alston, 27, in Norwalk.

The bodies of Smalls and Alston were found in a car on Avenue B on the morning of Aug. 6, 2011. Police initially weren't sure if it was a double murder or a murder-suicide, but autopsies showed both were victims of a homicide.

Gov. Dannel Malloy approved a state's attorney's request for the reward in January 2013. The $50,000 reward has been reissued for information leading to an arrest in connection with the murders.

Anyone with information about the killings is urged to call Norwalk police Det. Justin Bisceglie at 203-854-3181 or email jbisceglie@norwalkct.org.

You can also submit a tip to police by calling 203-854-3111 or post an anonymous tip to the Norwalk Police Department Web site.
