Reward Offered in Drive-By Shooting Cold Case

A $25,000 reward is being offered in Tynel Hardwick shooting case.

It’s been three years since Tynel Hardwick, 29, was gunned down outside Rumors Bar and Grill in Norwich and his murder remains unsolved.

Now the governor’s office is offering a $25,000 reward to help solve the case.

Last month, cold case investigators returned to Boswell Avenue to map the crime scene.

Hardwick was originally from East Hartford and had been living with a woman in Norwich for about six months when he was killed in a drive-by shooting from a gunshot to the head.

Anyone with information is asked to call Norwich Police at (860) 886-5561 or to notify the Eastern Connecticut Cold Case Unit.
