Manchester police are seeking the public's help in identifying a burglar who targeted two doctor offices and a dentist office over the weekend, stealing almost $3,000 from one of them.

Surveillance photos show the suspect, who appears to be a white male with a mustache in his 20s, wearing a Jansen backpack and Jordan sneakers.

According to a time stamp on the surveillance video at Columbia Dental in Manchester, the office was burglarized around 10:15 p.m. Saturday night, about an hour after the office closed for the day.

Jeffery Smith, the manager of the dental office at 483 West Middle Turnpike, said the thief jimmied a locked drawer and stole more than $2,800 in cash. The suspect rummaged through the  office but did not take laptops or any other items.

"We felt abused. We felt violated," Smith said.

Police are also investigating an attempted burglary at Kids Station Pediatrics at 191 Main St. Nothing appears to have been taken from the doctors’ office targeted at 200 Main St.

Manchester police ask anyone who recognizes the suspect in the surveillance footage to contact the department at (860) 645-5510.
