Several state beaches and parks are closed because their parking lots have reached full capacity in the hot weather on Sunday.
Rocky Neck State Park in East Lyme, Squantz Pond State Park in New Fairfield, Millers Pond State Park in Durham and Mount Tom State Park in Litchfield are all closed and at full capacity.
