Route 1 in Guilford has reopened after crews battled a house fire at 551 Boston Street.
The fire broke out in the single-family home just before 4 p.m.
Boston Street, also known as Route 146, meets up with the Boston Post Road in the center of town.
The road was shut down in both directions, but reopened just before 6 p.m.
Traffic was detoured on to Goose Lane and Tannar Marsh Road during the closure.
No one was injured in the fire, according to officials.
