Route 309 is closed at Hedgehog Lane in Simsbury so emergency crews can repair a pole that was struck by a car last night.

The road was closed overnight after a two-car crash, according to Simsbury police. A utility pole was also struck during the crash, which occurred around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Route 309 reopened early Sunday but was closed for repairs again in the afternoon. Traffic is being detoured onto Old Farms Road.

Police said Route 309 will remain closed for several hours.

It's not clear if anyone was injured in the crash.
