Route 4 Reopens in Farmington

A pedestrian was struck on Route 4 in Farmington on Monday.

Route 4 was closed in both directions at Farm Glen Boulevard, Farmington after a pedestrian was struck.

A CT Transit bus had stopped, let off a passenger and the man was struck by another car while crossing the street, according to officials at the scene.

Police said the man suffered serious injuries.

The road was shut down for more than three hours while police investigated.
