Route 44 Reopens in Coventry After Serious Crash

Route 44 has reopened in Coventry following a serious crash on Wednesday afternoon.

The road was shut down from the Bolton town line to Route 31 northbound after a car and a motorcycle collided around 3 p.m.

 

LifeStar is responding to the scene and transported the motorcycle driver to Saint Francis Hospital. The motorcyclist's condition is unknown.

Police have not released the identities of the people involved.

Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
