Route 8 north has reopened near exit 13 in Shelton after being closed due to a serious accident involving a motorcycle, according to Connecticut State Police.
Police said a car and a motorcycle are involved and serious injuries been reported. The highway was closed around 2 p.m. and reopened shortly before 6 p.m.
