There is no repairing a scorned women's heart, but there could be hope for the car cops said she keyed -- the one her husband's mistress drives.
Affairs of the heart can make people do crazy things and get them into some sticky situations -- like stranded at the crime scene after keying the car your hubby’s mistress drives.
Torrington police told Register Citizen that Alicia Rich, 18, of Shelton, keyed the woman’s Nissan Pathfinder in July then tried to flee and broke the key in her lock. So, Rich had no choice but to wait for police in the parking lot of her estranged husband’s apartment.
Not only is Rich accused of the vandalism, Torrington police also said she also made her presence known when she arrived at the multi-family home and yelled for her husband’s visitor to come outside and face her.
She was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, due back in court in November and could become the subject of a new Carrie Underwood song.
