No One Found in Plainville Search and Rescue

A search and rescue team found no one trapped when they searched a Quonset hut in Plainville after receiving a report that someone was in a building when it became compromised by snow and ice.

The building was locked so it seemed unlikely that anyone was inside, but they checked to make sure.

Some cars, a tow truck and an excavator were inside and the building inspector is on his way.

According to people at the scene, the address is 75 Neal Court.

Calco Construction & Development bought the facility from Sowamco Ltd. for $1.1 million, according to CoStar Group.

It was vacant for more than two years when the sale was made.

It’s not clear if the building was sold again.
