A Waterbury police officer is off the job after he was arrested on drug charges.  Police in neighboring Watertown arrested 29-year-old Francis Brevetti Thursday.

The 4-year veteran of the Waterbury police department faces a list of charges including drug possession and selling drugs within 1,500 feet of a school.  Neither Waterbury nor Watertown police are commenting on the arrest.

Brevetti is now on paid administrative leave pending a full investigation.
