Serious Accident Shuts Highway

Interstate 91 South is closed in Wallingford after a several cars collided Thursday afternoon.

Interstate 91 South was closed in Wallingford for hours after several cars collided Thursday afternoon.
All southbound lanes between exits 15 and 14 were closed until just past 6 p.m.
State Police report five passenger cars and a commercial vehicle are involved.
Many injuries are reported, at least one person is seriously wounded.
This is the same area of a fatal accident Tuesday afternoon involving a DOT vehicle.
