A power outage is affecting part of UConn’s campus in Storrs today and classes in several buildings are canceled for the day.

The classes affected are held in the chemistry, pharmacy and bio physics buildings.

Classes starting before 10 a.m. in the Engineering one building are also cancelled, according to a post on UConn’s Facebook page.

Crews are working to restore all power on campus and all other university classes and events will take place as scheduled.

Power to all residence halls and dining areas was restored earlier this morning.
