Public safety officials are investigating after a severed deer head was discovered in a crosswalk at Wesleyan University in Middletown, according to a spokesperson for the university.
Wesleyan spokeswoman Lauren Rubenstein said a public safety officer spotted the deer head Thursday night at a crosswalk near the Exley Science Center at 265 Church Street.
Rubenstein said public safety removed the deer head and is investigating to determine who may have put it there.
