Sex Is Safe at Yale, UConn: Report

When prospective students are looking at colleges, everyone looks at academic offerings, the campus and financial packages.

Sports rank high for lots of students, but students concerned about safe sex can rest assured that Yale and UConn have national ranking. 

Yale ranks 6th nationwide for the best safe-sex programs, according to the Daily Beast, which had an ealy glimpse of Sperling’s 2012 Sexual Health Report Card. It is one of four Ivy League schools to make it into the top 10.

The ranking comes from Sperling's Best Places and Trojan brand condoms.

UConn comes in 16th.  

Yale scored 10 out of 10 for both availability of condoms and STD testing.

UConn ranks high for availability of condoms, at 10 out of 10, 8 out of 10 for sexually transmitted disease testing and 7 out of 10 for outreach programs.
