Small Business Administrator Linda McMahon Makes Trip to Texas With President Trump

Small Business Administrator Linda McMahon traveled to Texas with President Donald Trump Tuesday to help with recovery efforts after Hurricane Harvey caused destruction in parts of the state since making landfall Friday night.

McMahon, a Connecticut businesswoman who served as the chief executive officer at WWE before stepping down in 2009 to run for the Senate, has run the Small Business Administration since February.

She said via Twitter that the SBA has 900 disaster assistance staff members and activated more staff to provide help to victims of the storm

Trump, McMahon, Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price, acting Secretary of Homeland Security Elaine Duke and Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson arrived in Corpus Christi for a briefing and they are expected to travel to Austin as well for a tour of the Texas Department of Public Safety's Emergency Operations Center
