For the second day in a row the parking areas and beach at Rocky Neck State Park in East Lyme are at full capacity, according to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
Several other state parks reached full parking capacity as well.
According to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, the parking areas at Rocky Neck, Bigelow Hollow State Park in Union, Pattaconk Lake Recreation area in Cockaponset State Forest, Wadsworth Falls State Park in Middletown, Gardner Lake State Park in Salem, Indian Well State Park in Shelton, Mount Tom State Park in Litchfield, Miller’s Pond State Park in Durham and Squantz Pond State Park in New Fairfield are all full and can’t accept new vehicles.
