Fatal Motorcycle Crash Victim Identified

Somers Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that happened around 6:45 Saturday night.

According to investigators, Joshua Wetherington, 25, of Somers, was operating a motorcycle that was traveling west on Pioneer Heights Road in Somers.

The motorcycle left the road and traveled on the grass before striking a utility pole. Wetherington was located approximately 20 feet from the pole.

Wetherington was transported to Johnson Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The accident is under investigation.
